Highland Legend

This stunning Celtic overture opens with a marcato trumpet tune that gives a taste of the highland melodies about to unfold.  At times brisk and spirited, at others tender, the lovely countermelodies enhance the tunefulness throughout.  On the instructional side, the piece provides opportunities to reinforce dotted rhythms, 6/8 meter, and important articulation concepts. Very nice!
