Hope Is the Thing with Feathers
A skillful setting of an Emily Dickinson poem. Symbolism abounds as the hope of a bird is brought to life. The fluttering accompaniment, interesting harmonies and melodic line all contribute to the feeling of hope that the bird has through hardship. A great piece for treble voices!
