This collection offers ten pieces based on hymn tunes, using adventuresome harmonic language and a breadth of musical interest. As with the previous volumes, this collection includes an introduction and an accompaniment for each of ten hymns that span the church year. The introductions can be easily shortened to create brief intonations.
