Sharing good times with friends, praising the beauty of the land or remembering those lost in the struggle for freedom, these themes are found in "The Rakes of Mallow," "The Meeting of the Waters," the lively jig "Pet of the Pipers" and that stirring patriotic song "The Minstrel Boy."
