Let's Wail
Publisher Desc.
This arrangement was written by Ernie Wilkins for Terry Gibbs' 1956 record titled "Swingin' with the Terry Gibbs Orchestra." This arrangement was originally written for five saxes, five trumpets, and four trombones. In addition, the solo was originally played on mellophone by Don Elliott. Alternate solo instructions have been provided so that it may be played without vibraphone. This would make a great opener/closer or festival chart. Brass: 5 Trumpets, 3 Tenor Trombones, 1 Bass Trombone.
