Little Mexican Suite, Mvt. 3: Sahuaro

This charming collection of dances is inspired by the natural beauty of Mexico. Orchestral scoring and joyful rhythms combine to paint a musical portrait of the flora found in the diverse and beautiful landscape. Sahuaro, the tall, tree-like cactus, takes the form of a danzon depicting a forest of the huge green cacti reaching toward the sky.
