This delightful selection teaches as it entertains!  It begins with syncopated accompaniment played pizzicato by violin 1, cello,  and bass, and bowed melody in violin 2 and viola.  The sound is very much an imitation of the Mariachi sounds of Mexico and the American Southwest.
