Music 2000 is designed to educate students about reading and understanding music. The lessons have been sequentially written so that they can be used in a variety of music classes. Students in choir, band, orchestra, general music and other music disciplines will all benefit from the music fundamentals presented. Each theory lesson deals with one or more music concepts while reinforcing previously learned lessons. These books meet the criteria set forth in the "Goals 2000 National Standards For Art Education."
