Nessun Dorma

One of the most memorable melodies ever written, this Puccini masterpiece is adapted wonderfully here for concert band. The opening theme is presented by a solo baritone (cued for trumpet or oboe), and is followed by soaring statements for the woodwinds and horn. The trumpets are added as the pieces build towards its signature climactic ending. Band music simply doesn't get any classier than this!
