Noels from the PyreneesTraditional French / John Gibson - JB Linear Music
Publisher Desc. This delightful collection of Christmas songs popular in the Pyrenees mountain area between France and Spain makes a perfect set of duets for two oboes! J. Puig Y Alsubide arranged these pieces in 1900 to be sung and played. Alsubide was the organist for the Cathedral D'Aire (St. John the Baptist) in the town of Aire-sur-l'Adour in France. There are 5 Noels that may not be familiar to most, but are wonderfully filled with the Christmas spirit. They are arranged for woodwind duet by John Gibson.
