Not by Bread Alone

The refrain of this setting is based on the communion antiphon for the first Sunday of Lent. It is easy to learn and sing from memory while in procession to receive the Eucharist. With verses rooted in scripture, this beautiful assembly song deals not only with the theme of God's love for us through Jesus' sacrifice, but also healing, God's Word, and our own longing for God.
