This majestic and triumphant work for Christmas heralds the coming of the King of Peace into a troubled world. Quoting a medieval carol, this piece is a wonderful concert processional or closer. It can be performed in English, or in English with Latin interpolations, and is scored for organ or orchestra. Two separate versions are available: this concert version which is seven minutes long; and a service version which is shorter (four minutes) with reduced forces.
