Here is a modern take on the beautiful 15th-century chant. The lyrical lines are preserved, but some syncopation pushes the rhythms in places to give it a younger and more relevant feel. The piano part drives with a contemporary groove, and there is interesting voice leading in every choral part, while the limited ranges remain extremely accessible for developing choirs. A perfect Christmas concert selection!
