Starting out with an eloquent brass chorale, this tender arrangement of the holiday standard features some nice moments including a climactic lead trumpet soaring above the band. There are short written solos on the melody for the trumpet and alto sax paired with some nice dynamic writing. This is a great treatment of a holiday classic that is original and effective.
