Once upon a Cross
This is a dramatic Easter cantata, one that will hold your attention from the opening sounds until the final choral sounds have faded into memory. A great conflict is about to be decided, one where battle lines are being formed that will decide the fate of the world. On one side stands the Almighty and all the hosts of Heaven, and on the other, the enemy and all the legions of Hell. And in the middle there hangs a lone figure on a wooden cross stained with blood. This forsaken and condemned man has the appearance of a beaten and broken beggar, but make no mistake, He is a King. He knows what is at stake and what is required. And He knows the pain and suffering a full and irrevocable victory will cost. Duration 50 minutes with optional drama companion adding another 15 minutes.
