Level 1 begins with Firefly, a sweet and beautiful melody that is shared between the hands in C Major position. This level continues the interval orientation to reading across the full range of the grand staff. Quite a few new concepts are progressively introduced including legato and staccato, treble F - A - C - E, notes in treble C position, intervals (2nds, 3rds, 4ths, 5ths), half and whole rests, sharps and flats, tonic and dominant, C Major chord, V7 chord, G positions and more.
