Publisher Desc.  With the exception of the piece for myself, these miniatures were written for friends at disparate stages of piano ability, some raw beginners, one a semi-professional. A few, though, in no way represent the stage of the dedicatee's development at the time of writing, but were written to inspire or amuse. They are all, in their ways, affectionate character sketches of those people as I experience them, and remember them.
