Pirate Don Durk of Dowdee

PENINGER - Cambiata Press
Publisher Desc.  This is a setting of Mildred Plew Merryman's delightful 19th century poem by the same name.  It is a great novelty piece creatively set to music by David Peninger.   It is voiced with three treble parts and one part written in the bass clef, so it may be sung SSAB or SSCB (for groups with changing voices -  "C" = "cambiata".  This unique and crowd pleasing novelty piece requires a moderate to excellent pianist and singers with relatively strong musical skills.  It will take a little effort to learn, but the result will be gratifying.
