Reclamation Suite

Reclamation Suite includes six of the variations from Reclamation Variations, which was composed from March to May in 2020. The pandemic had exposed many of the underlying problems in the Western world. In addition to the health crisis, the class war between the wealthy and the poor looks to widen even more in the coming years with high inflation increasing. A long reclamation period to restore what has severely eroded over many decades is what I see coming for much of the Western world. As a result, this music reflects a somber tone, but also of determination and affirmation. Originally for full orchestra, arranged for guitar orchestra.
