Reminiscence is a compelling original composition commissioned by Encore! Handbell Ensemble in memory of founding member Shirley Schuhart. A devoted ringer described as "steady" and "dependable," she was primarily placed on the B4 and C5 bells. Reminiscence relies heavily on these bells - especially the C5 - to be the steady "heartbeat" throughout the piece. Suitable in both worship and concert settings, this work has a span of 3 to 7 octaves, which also makes it an excellent choice for festivals.
