A cappella
Composed on the first anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing, the piece is meant to depict first the stunned silence the moments after the blast, then the frantic search for survivors, then the sad realization that the city, state, and nation had forever been changed. This piece has since been used for programs about social justice, Veterans Day and Remembrance Day programs, as well as for 9/11 commemorations. Scored for a cappella voices. A version with strings is available as well.
