Publisher Desc.  Rhapsody No 1 in E Minor is a Chopin-esque type of piece, Romantic and dramatic with a lyrical, flowing quality. The melody line starts out simply and resolves itself into intricate arpeggiated paterns, broken 4 note forms and loads of octave work. There are 7 pages all together. This work would be comparable to approximately Grade 9 or 10 of the Royal Conservatory of Music books. It is a challenge for piano teachers and a delight for advanced students at recitals.
