An energetic and masterful work, this medium-level marimba quartet is strongly written for a circle of marimbas. Additionally, each player is assigned to a differing woodblocks. Instrumentation include two 4.3 octave, two five octave marimbas and four pitched woodblocks. Drawn from the composers own childhood memories, this will be a good addition to the percussion ensemble library.
