This work is based on the tune, Ye Banks and Braes O Bonnie Doon. The buoyant ebb and flow of the melody is crafted from the pentatonic scale. This setting makes for a lively and engaging experience, complete with stomps, slaps, and claps that seem to conjure up images of a Scottish barn dance.
