You'll have chills up and down your spine when you hear this gorgeous ballad!  Stephen Sondheim's song is a natural for a jazz ballad, but Dave Wolpe's superb scoring and wonderful musical ideas just take it to the limit.  Lush chords, imploring melodies, duplet against triplet rhythms, muted brass and some well-placed dissonances all combine to create one of the most poignant ballads we've heard in years!  This is an arrangement that should be in the library of every band at both the medium easy and medium levels!
