Publisher Desc.  Seven Studies for Solo Mallet Percussion are designed as supplemental short solos that allow students to work on their mallet percussion skills in addition to their regular lesson books. These pieces can be played on xylophone, marimba, vibraphone or orchestra bells. The pieces in volume 2 are for intermediate students that have been playing for a little while, are played with two mallets and give the students practice in key signatures up to three sharps and flats, time signatures including 4/4, 6/8 and 3/4, double stops, grace notes, 8th note and 16th note triplets, rolls and notes up to two ledger lines above and below the staff.
