Sim Shalom

Written around the theme Prayers for Peace, the melodic material seems reminiscent of music that one would hear in a Hebrew morning service, with a melody that the singers and listeners will carry with them throughout the entire day. The piece can be performed in a variety of ways: as an unaccompanied work (beginning at measure 8), with piano, or with string quartet.
