Skyscraper

Heart rates will quicken and your audience will be energized by this new, highly motivating, student-accessible trio for clarinet, alto saxophone and piano. Commissioned by Music Teachers National Association, composed by Wynn-Anne Rossi and published by Alfred Music, Skyscraper evokes a feeling of awe. Wynn-Anne Rossi conveys the wonder of a towering skyscraper and the fast pace, excitement, and dissonance of a big American city. Jazz rhythms, meters and harmonies are prominent. Students at the late intermediate level will be challenged and inspired. One movement in length, duration is four breathtaking minutes.
