A cappella Publisher Desc.  During the protests that took place in the second quarter of 2017, two Venezuelan artists (Elisabetta Balasso and Laura Morales Balza) undertook the task of developing a staging in order to express artistically, in various public places, the pain of all those who, due to the brutal violence exerted by the repressive bodies of the state, had lost relatives. They used the old and well-known hymn Stabat Mater in a performance they called Dolorosas. Dressed in mourning, while one of them recited the verses of the hymn, the other mentioned the name of each of the Venezuelan citizens who died during the protests.
