Inspired by the book series Peter and the Starcatchers, this rousing piece captures the innocence, adventure, danger, and wonderment of the early days of Peter Pan and the Lost Boys as they travel the seas in search of the magical "star stuff." The intense darkness of the pirate Black Stache even makes an appearance with alternating measures of 4/4 and 7/8 as well as special vocal effects throughout the ensemble.
