This chart on an iconic standard starts big and then reveals that the head is atypical, but very cool. At first it might seem a little dated, but Kamuf is only hinting at the past. Overall, it's a contemporary take and turns into a real swinging groove during the solo section for alto, trumpet and trombone. Then there's an out-of-sight sax section soli before the drummer gets his licks in with an extended solo. Creative, exciting and highly recommended!
