A strong theme and fresh-sounding harmonies distinguish this as an impressive work for concert or contest!  Bright and forceful rhythms live up to the title as a sense of tension of an impending storm is created.  Multiple percussion parts offer interesting work, even for large percussion sections.  This is a top notch composition for bands at the easy level, but bands at upper levels may also want to program it, it's that good!
