Publisher Desc.  "Take, Lord, Receive," showcases Jeanne Cotter's consummate skill in composing compelling piano accompaniments. Her setting of this unrelenting plea by John Foley is enhanced by the persistence of the fluid arpeggios throughout. This SAT song of commitment and love for God is an amazingly beautiful exercise in juxtaposition, contrasting the undulating accompaniment with the long sustained notes of the solo and choral parts.
