Publisher Desc.  Karl L. King's "The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea" (subtitled Humoreske) is an entertaining novelty piece. The beautiful lyrical melody that flows like rolling waves is contrasted by the solo bass staccato line as it lumbers along the ocean floor. Only moderately difficult it uses scale passages and march form. This flute choir adaptation features two bass flutes and has optional string bass and percussion parts for added color.
