This great trumpet feature was composed for Doc Severinsen to be premiered at the Midwest Band and Orchestra Conference. It's a bright, swinging chart that features trumpet throughout. It can be performed with an out-in-front soloist or within the trumpet section with four players only. The harmonic pattern is terrific and there's a lot of room for the soloist to improvise. The band parts are not as challenging as the solo part.
