After the success of The Beatitudes, this new collection also uses scripture as inspiration. Based on the theme of the Fruit of the Spirit from the book of Galatians, each "fruit" has inspired an organ piece based on a traditional hymn with a thematic link. The organ pieces can serve as individual voluntaries, be played together in recital, or be used to enhance scripture readings, prayers, or poetry.
