The Hero's Quest

Here's a complete show that tells the story of a hero who rises up to lead people out of oppression. It begins with an impending threat - the people struggle against their oppressor without success. When they succumb to despair, the hero finds the courage to speak up and rally the crowd to rise up and fight against impossible odds. Then, with a final moment of encouragement, the hero leads the people to victory and takes back what the enemy stole. It's an inspirational journey of good triumphing over evil. Musical genres featured in the show include a big band swing opener, a hard rock change-of-pace, a sweeping Broadway-style ballad, a driving pop-rock setup song, and a contemporary gospel closer. Feature solo singers in a hero role and a mentor role, and a violinist in the ballad, if desired.
