The Lake Isle of Innisfree
"I will arise... and go now to Innisfree...for always night and day I hear water lapping with low sounds by the shore." The classic imagery of William Butler Yeats is set in a lovely, lyrical style with long phrases, nice voice leading, and good ranges for treble ensembles. Written for the Kettering (Ohio) Children's Choir, it is artistic with a pretty piano accompaniment with its own flowing voice.
