Here's a gentle ballad that speaks of a boy growing into a man just as a small oak tree grows in the boy's back yard.  "Oh, the rush of the mighty northern wind, the brawny wave of the sea.  There is nothing quick as the passing of time, and there's nothing strong as a tree."  This is right on target for changed and unchanged male voices!
