The Wind That Shakes the Barley
In this arrangement of a nineteenth-century song about love and war during the Irish Rebellion of 1798, a separate ensemble alternately sings the role of Ireland and the role of the Maiden. The parts for guitar and war drum also play an important role in this aggressive work. Performance notes help the choir to achieve an authentic Irish accent. Exciting!
