In this arrangement the traditional chorus, O the Blood of Jesus bookends the traditional hymn, There Is a Fountain. The hymn is given a majestic treatment that it well deserves, and there is no apology or remorse for the text, but it is proudly sung as all three verses are represented. Finally, on the final stanza, as the flourish begins, the congregation joins in, and the text states, "Dear dying lamb, thy precious blood shall never lose its power, till all the ransomed church of God be saved to sin no more!" This monumental setting of a thrilling hymn of the crucifixion must not be missed! Highly recommended!
