Composed by Dizzy Gillespie and Gil Fuller, here's Gordon Goodwin's chart as recorded by Arturo Sandoval and his big band on the CD, Dear Diz (Every Day I Think of You). This is a challenging swing chart that is very fast at around 202-232 bpm. The solo space is for all 5 saxes, trombones 1 and 2 and trumpet 4, with the lead trumpet range going to written high F-sharp with optional A-flats. There are nice sax solis and a trumpet section soli (or solo) that will be a challenge. If you have the horses, play it!
