Three Susato Dances
These three dances have been selected and arranged from the Danserye, published in 1551. There was no indication on the original score as to the instrumentation, but Susato said "the dances should be pleasing and appropriate, to be played in instruments of all kinds." Originally for four unnamed instruments, this arrangement has been expanded to five parts, and each part has flexible instrumentation options for versatility and value.
