A two movement tone poem for full orchestra that paints an abstract about the metamorphic life of a butterfly and our own human development - from chrysalis to fully formed beauty.  The second movement takes its dramatic form from the poem XXXI by John Gould   Fletcher (from "Irradiations: Sand and Spray").
