Trio No. 6, Op. 83
The contrapuntal nature of this engaging work will require accurate subdivision of the beat in order to achieve a light, detached style that is consistent throughout the ensemble. Balance amongst the parts is also a key to success in this intermediate arrangement for flute, oboe and clarinet trio. It provides a good teaching opportunity to establish a good foundation in ensemble playing skills. A second flute may substitute for the oboe part as well.
