Carl Fruhling (1868-1937) was an Austrian composer. �From 1887 until 1889 �he studied piano and composition at the Konservatorium of the Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde in Vienna. �After finishing his studies, Fruhling remained in Vienna as a piano and composition instructor. �Among his unpublished works are a Piano Concerto Opus 12, a Fantasie for Flute and Orchestra Opus 55, orchestral works and a Mass opus 6; also a Serenade for Piano Opus 11, a Piano Quintet Opus 30, numerous songs and piano pieces and a ballet-pantomime'. �Instrumentation includes: �Clarinet (violin), cello and piano.
