Vacation Magic offers an exciting adventure in music. Each volume includes original solos by the Bastiens, ear training and music appreciation activities, theory, and sight reading all woven into an engaging story line. The Primer Level begins at the elementary level with one-note melodies between the hands in middle C position. Level One begins at the late-elementary level with tunes in C, G, and F Major. Level Two starts at the early intermediate level with eighth note rhythms, syncopation and plenty of harmonic intervals and chords. Level Three takes the student from the early intermediate to the intermediate level with two-page pieces that cover a wide range of the keyboard, containing a variety of articulations, rhythms, and pedalling challenges. Level Four is solidly at the intermediate level and offers pieces in many keys and styles.
