Vivaldi Album

Part of a series of operatic aria anthologies subdivided by vocal register, this collection is drawn from Antonio Vivaldi's surviving musical works for the theater. Its sources include 24 musical dramas, three serenades, and numerous individual arias. Each volume comprises 12 pieces which vary in effect and character, illustrating a wide range of styles and dramatic situations.
