"We Are the Art" is a song written for the composer's middle school choir students to convey a wish of love, hope, and self-acceptance for them. The song was performed by local middle school choirs at several different schools, and then was selected as part of the repertoire for the 6th Grade All-City Chorus event in Virginia Beach in April 2018.
