White Silk is a beautiful, melodic ballad solo feature for alto saxophone or trumpet/flugelhorn. The ensemble is also featured with full accompaniment and counterpoint that wraps around and through the melody as the title suggests. A written solo is provided for the soloist, along with written cadenzas. White Silk is silky smooth!
